How it fits your week
- Weeks 1 & 3: a new unit releases — short video lesson plus a printable PDF workbook.
- Weeks 2 & 4: the assignment is due by 11:59 pm on the posted day.
- Once a month: a live Zoom workshop with the instructor and the cohort, always recorded.
- Time: roughly one to two hours per course per week, done whenever your day allows.

Progress, feedback and what you can keep
Instructors leave written feedback on submitted work, and students may revise once. Parents see every assignment, submission and comment in the dashboard, so you always have a clear record of progress and something concrete to show for the year. RKU is an enrichment program, not an accredited school, so we do not issue transcripts.
Parent Academy is included
Every child's enrollment includes the Parent Academy at no extra cost — practical sessions on encouraging independence, asking better questions, recognizing strengths and supporting productive struggle without taking the work over. Upcoming sessions are listed on the events page.
Co-ops, pods and micro-schools
Running a group? A site license covers seats across all three age bands with instructor onboarding and Parent Academy access for every family. Pricing is quoted per site.

$24 a month for a single age band, or $39 a month for the Family membership, which covers all three bands with up to three student logins. Annual plans are $240 and $390. Every plan includes live instruction, the recorded lesson library, regional events and the Parent Academy.

Homeschool parent questions
Do we have to follow your calendar?
Lessons are self-paced, so most families slot them wherever they already have a block open. The only fixed points are the assignment due dates and one live Zoom workshop a month, and every workshop is recorded.
How do you track my child's progress?
Every assignment submission, instructor comment and completed unit is logged in your dashboard, so you can see at a glance what your child has finished, what is outstanding and what the instructor said about their work.
Do you provide records or transcripts?
We are an enrichment program, not an accredited school, so we do not issue transcripts. Parents can see every submission, score and instructor comment in the dashboard, which many families keep as portfolio evidence.
What if we only want one subject?
Membership is by age band rather than by course, so you get the whole band's catalog and can use only the subjects you need this year.
What technology do we need?
A device with a camera and microphone for the live workshops, plus a printer if you want the PDF workbooks on paper. There is nothing to buy beyond that.
Can siblings share one account?
Each student needs their own login so their assignments and progress stay separate. The Family membership covers all three age bands with up to three student logins.
